Oh, Clover...
Let me introduce you to my first born , Clover. Yes, I said born - just not by me. haha. She has taken to being a big sister beautifully, but does have her jealous moments. So, I took this time to be all about her, and she could not have been more bored by it...haha!

Hey There Delilah...
Boy, do I love this squishy, sleepy face...

This past weekend you finally met all of your uncles Eric, Ian and Josh, your Great Aunt Jane and your Great Grandma - Mommom. It is safe to say it was love at first sight! You saw Mama D, Pappy, Grandma Randi, Uncle Jake, Mamaw and Papaw, too. I hope as you grow you feel how loved you are.

You are my baby bird, my "lub bug", my Delilah Mae Who... and after knowing you for 2 months I can't even remember life without you. You are snuggly and have the sweetest coos. I still get teary-eyed everytime you smile at me. You hate the sound of velcro and you flinch whenever Clover barks... but you love to feel her fur and she loves to lick the milk off your face after you eat.
I love our mornings together. After Daddy leaves for work, you wake up slowly and have breakfast in bed with me and Clover. You are so awake and alert, sometimes you can't help but smile while you are nursing and get milk all over the place.... Clover appreciates it and I usually need to do laundry anyway - After you eat breakfast you spend a precious few minutes smiling and cooing at me - it is the best part of my day and I truly cherish this time. After playtime, it's time for a nap and if I'm lucky I don't have anything to do and I can watch you sleep. Your chubby cheeks pressed against the bed make your lips into a little beak (that's why we call you baby bird. hehe!)
